CHANGE_BLOCK allows you to change a block tile and settings by using your script. You can either use CHANGE_BLOCK LID, CHANGE_BLOCK TYPE or CHANGE_BLOCK SIDE. These are the parameters for those:


SIDEEdit

Parameters:

( X , Y , Z ) face_type wall_type bullet_type flat_type flip_type rotation tile


X , Y , ZThe coordinates of the block. Must not use decimals
face_typeWhat face should the command change; TOP (north), LEFT (west), RIGHT (east) or BOTTOM (south)
wall_typeDefines if the block face is either WALL or NOT_WALL. If set to WALL, you wont be able to pass through it, if set to NOT_WALL, you will
bullet_typeDefines if the block face is either BULLET or NOT_BULLET. If set to BULLET, you wont be able to shoot through it, else, you will
flat_typeDefines if the block face is either FLAT or NOT_FLAT. If FLAT, the face will be transparent, else, it will have a black background
flip_typeDefines if the block face will be flipped (FLIP) or not (NOT_FLIP)
rotationDefines the block face rotation, must be either 0, 90, 180 or 270
tileDefines what will be the (new) tile for the block. You can view all the tiles using the GTA2 Editor or STY Tool


Note: The block side will only be set to FLAT (if you set it to FLAT with this command) if FLAT is available on the tile you want to use


LIDEdit

Parameters:

( X , Y , Z ) flat_type flip_type lighting rotation tile


X , Y , ZAre the coordinates for the block. Must not use decimals
flat_typeDefines if the lid is either FLAT or NOT_FLAT
flip_typeDefines if the lid is either flipped (FLIP) or not (NOT_FLIP)
lightingDescribes the lighting level of the lid; must not be a decimal (float) number. 0 is normal lighting, 1-3 increases darkness. You can only use levels ranging from 0 to 3
rotationDefines the rotation of the tile used in the lid. Must be either 0, 90, 180 or 270
tileDefines the new tile (texture) of the lid

TYPEEdit

Parameters:

X , Y , ZCoordinates for the block. Must not use decimals
typeDefines the block type: AIR, PAVEMENT, ROAD or FIELD
slopeDefines the slope type for the block. 0 for no slope (check all the slope types using the GTA2 Editor)


Important note: You must use the CHANGE_BLOCK command if you use ADD_NEW_BLOCK, since ADD_NEW_BLOCK only adds a new block set to AIR and with no tiles.
